Spring Budding Brooch Workshop with Artist Talk, Milton Keynes Art Centre, 2021.
Online evening talk and workshop as part of Milton Keynes Heritage Week in celebration of the Spring season and for the colour and vibrancy of life it brings. This textiles workshop involved gathering fallen twigs before the workshop and creating budding brooches with remnants of sari fabrics through wrapping, binding, stitching and combining textile embellishments. This event happened on a special day as 28/29 March 2021 was the South Asian Holi and Dhuleti festival on which stories were also presented during the artist talk.
