Stitching with a lively gathering under a gazebo on the high street for South Asian Heritage month organised by Creative People and Places Hounslow. Together with local creative arts educator, Suprya Naveed, we shared skills in how to thread needles, tie knots, sew running stitches, use an embroidery frame and think about how clothes and textiles around the home can be strengthened and repaired.
