South Asian Heritage Month 2022, Hounslow High Street, West London.
A temporary participatory archway installation, reusing turban and sari fabrics for a wrapping and twisting workshop alongside turban-tying demonstrators from ChardiKala Turban Academy, and dhol players from the Dhol Foundation. A collaboration with Hounslow Central Local Advisory Group who live, work or have a vested interest in the local area. This project is part of a programme of events to engage a passing audience.
