ISHRAQAH - Middle East Festival
New Art Exchange, Nottingham 2011

As part of the Middle East festival, I was invited to run a drop-in workshop to create a participatory temporary installation within the New Art Exchange gallery.

The fineness of suspended coiled textile and brass wire forms appear to be floating, each shape drawing from geometric and organic forms woven into Persian rugs creating arches as seen in the architecture of sacred spaces representing gateways to pass through.
